Chasen Lamp

We've turned our favorite spring and summer drinks—ube, matcha, and hojicha latte—into adorable lamps shaped like traditional matcha whisks (chasen). We've added a cord so you can bring it easily with you, whether you want it on your bedside table, hanging by the wall, or joining you on the balcony for your coffee after dinner.

Fun facts:

• Known for its vibrant color, ube is a purple yam native to the Philippines. Its iconic color isn't food coloring, it actually comes from the same antioxidants found in wild blueberries.
• Everybody is familiar with matcha, but did you know that samurai used to drink it before battles? It was their secret drink to stay calm but completely awake.
• Hojicha, green tea leaves roasted over charcoal, was discovered in 1920s by a tea merchant who did not want to waste leftover leaves.
